Iranian short ‘The Oblivion’ has been accepted into the screening program of the 12th edition of the Buffalo International Film Festival (BIFF) in the US.
Directed by Fatemeh Mohammadi, the film is Iran’s sole representative at the US event.
Produced by Iranian Youth Cinema Society, ‘The Oblivion’ depicts the challenges facing people in their old ages.
The Iranian short film received an award at the 2018 edition of the Moondance International Film Festival in US.
The BIFF is Western New York’s premiere cinematic event with a “commitment to inclusion and amplifying diverse voices in narrative, documentary and experimental film.”
The event encourages works that push the boundaries of genre and form, offering workshops, seminars, industry panel discussions, fiscal sponsorship and professional development opportunities.
The 12th edition of the BIFF is slated for October 4-8, 2018, in Buffalo, New York, the US.
